Call for proposals
The Ministry of Science and Education participates in the review of the apprenticeship in the Republic of Croatia within the project "Thematic Review on Country Apprenticeship" run by CEDFOP (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training). A preparatory meeting of the Project was held on 2 December 2016 in the Ministry of Science and Education. The meeting was attended by the representatives of CEDEFOP, the representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education and the representatives of the key stakeholders in the system of VET and apprenticeship in the Republic of Croatia.
 
On January 25th, 2016, a meeting was held among teachers who were awarded a scholarship and in July 2015 attended the Education Seminar on Holocaust in Yad Vashem - the Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority, in Israel.
 
On October 22 and 23, 2015, at Hotel International in Zagreb, the "Croatian Qualifications Framework: Knowledge and Creativity" conference was held, organized by the National Council for the Development of Human Potential.
 

The Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia through the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes offers scholarships for foreign students and professors of higher education institutions as well as research fellows who intend to gain further professional experience in Croatian institutions of higher education or research.

 
In the framework of this program the Fund finances small and medium-scale collaborative research projects, which are in accordance with Fund’s goals and include cooperation with Croatian scientific and expert Diaspora.
 
The Republic of Croatia has received 20 million EUR from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the implementation of  Second Science and Technology Project (STP II). Within the implementation of  STP II, MSE envisages to engage consultant for Supervision and Quality Control of Conceptual, Main and Detailed Design for for Centre for Advanced Laser Techniques (CALT) at the Institute of Physics in Zagreb.
 
The Republic of Croatia has received 20 million EUR from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the implementation of  Second Science and Technology Project (STP II). Within the implementation of  STP II, MSES envisages to engage consultant for Supervision and Quality Control of Conceptual, Main and Detailed Design for Croatian Scientific and Educational Cloud (HR-ZOO). HR-ZOO project will establish six national HR-ZOO data centres in four Croatian university towns: 3 centres in Zagreb, 1 in Split, Rijeka and Osijek.
