State Secretary Dražen Vikić-Topić, PhD, Sent a Message of Condolence to Family of Late Greta Pitaf-Mrzljak, PhD

Dear Mrzljak family,

It is with great sorrow that we have received the sad news on the eternal repose of our distinguished scientist and dear colleague professor Greta Pifat-Mrzljak, PhD.
With the death of professor Greta Pifat-Mrzljak, PhD, the Croatian scientific community has lost its important member and world-renowned scientist in the field of biophysics, whose work was not only significant in the science and research area, but who also contributed to the enhancement, development and popularization of science and higher education.

We will particularly cherish the memory of the International Summer Schools on Biophysics, organized by Professor Greta Pifat-Mrzljak, PhD, since 1981. They have gained worldwide fame owing to her extraordinary scientific and organizational skills. Many Nobel Prize winners who have participated in these schools confirm this.  
On behalf of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, Minister Radovan Fuchs, PhD, and my own, please accept our heartfelt condolences regarding the irretrievable loss of your dear wife and mother, as well as world renowned Croatian scientist professor Greta Pifat-Mrzljak, PhD.
